Project Description

physiopathologie

Summary :

In a context of healthcare system saturated by Covid-19, it is essential to identify specific prognostic markers, accessible via minimally invasive sampling, at low infection risk for health care workers. The purpose of this study is to identify the link between the plasma level of active Willebrand upon admission to intensive care and the prognosis of morbidity and mortality after 28 days (mortality, duration of invasive ventilation, duration of hospitalization in intensive care) in patients with severe COVID-19 infection. The predictive value of the measurement of other coagulopathy and endothelial activation markers upon admission for resuscitation will also be assessed.

Objective :

To assess the association between the plasma level of active Willebrand, measured within 24 hours after admission for resuscitation and vital status after 28 days, the duration of invasive ventilation and hospitalization in patients with severe COVID-19 infection.
